Terms and Conditions of Sale
These general terms and conditions of sale are agreed between César Ferreira, with address in Oeiras, Lisbon, tax identification number 210155191, hereinafter referred to as Seller and people who wish to make purchases through the website cesarferreira.pt hereinafter referred to as Consumer.
The parties agree that purchases made through the website cesarferreira.pt will be regulated exclusively by this contract, excluding any conditions previously available on the website.
- Commercial policy
The Seller has services, physical products and digital products of “courses, books and support material for those interested in reading and authoring books” for sale on the website cesarferreira.pt.
The Consumer indicates the individual acting as a natural or legal person.
The Seller reserves the right not to process orders that do not comply with the Seller's general terms and conditions of sale.
These general terms and conditions of sale exclusively regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of orders placed on cesarferreira.pt between the Consumer and the Seller.
The Consumer must provide the Seller with an email address, or details relating to another form of contact, that are correct and complete and accepts that the Seller may contact him/her using these details, if deemed necessary.
- Orders
2.1 How to order
To order from cesarferreira.pt, the user must have an email account and their browser must be configured to accept cookies and pop-ups, in order to enjoy all browsing conditions.
To place an order at cesarferreira.pt:
Find or request an address for the products you want to purchase;
Add the selected products to the shopping cart;
Complete the purchase;
Select the payment option;
Review and confirm the order;
Proceed to payment;
You will receive an order confirmation by email;
The order is confirmed when you select the “Confirm order” button at the end of the purchase process (checkout).
When the Seller receives the order, a message will appear on the screen with your order number and all the details of the order. The purchase agreement is finalized at that moment.
An order confirmation will be sent to your email. We suggest you save, print or download this information for future reference.
By submitting the order form, you are accepting the general purchasing conditions, as well as other conditions existing on cesarferreira.pt, through links, including the general conditions and terms of use.
If the products presented on the website cesarferreira.pt are no longer available at the time of the last access or when the Seller receives the order, the Seller must inform about their unavailability within 30 days after receiving the order.
If an order has been placed and payment has been made for products that are no longer available, the Seller will refund the money paid for the unavailable items.
2.2 Right not to accept the order or cancel the purchase
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, even after automatic confirmation thereof, exempt from liability for any damages or costs, namely in the following situations:
The service or product is no longer available (payments will be refunded);
The billing information is not correct or verifiable;
The order is signaled by our Security Systems as an incorrect order or an order susceptible to fraud;
Payment for the order has not been received within five days of acceptance of the order;
If we find that you are under eighteen;
If we find that you are a reseller;
It is not possible to deliver to the address provided.
The Seller may not process orders that do not have sufficient guarantee of good collection, when the orders are incomplete or incorrect or the products ordered are no longer available. In such cases, the Consumer will be informed by email that the sales contract has not been concluded and that the Seller has not proceeded with the sale, specifying the reasons for this.
2.3 Data verification
Once the Seller has received your order, some checks may be carried out on it before it is prepared. These checks may include address verification, creditworthiness verification and fraud checks.
Fraud checking is carried out through partially automated processes on all orders to filter out unusual, suspicious or identified fraud-prone transactions. Suspicions of fraud will be investigated and, if necessary, prosecuted. By confirming the order, the Consumer agrees to these conditions.
- Payments
3.1 Payment methods
On the website cesarferreira.pt, the Seller makes the following payment methods available to the Consumer:

3.2 Payment processing
In the case of payment by bank card, the debit will be made to the Consumer's card immediately after confirmation of the ability to provide the service or send the product. If any of the products or services ordered cannot be sent or provided, the value of the same will be credited to the Consumer's card after the order is closed.
This information will not be used by the Seller, except to carry out the necessary procedures for the purchase or refund, in the case of return, in accordance with the exercise of the right of return or to communicate, to the police, cases of fraud.
- Availability and consumption
The service will be made available after confirmation of payment made.
- Safety
5.1 The cesarferreira.pt store uses encryption technologies to send and receive information, in order to maintain data security.
Payment information will be encrypted from the moment you enter it until your transaction is processed and will not be stored on public servers. Although we use encryption software, the security of information and payments transmitted over the Internet through third parties cannot be guaranteed.
The Seller shall not be liable for any damage suffered as a result of the use of electronic means of communication including, but not limited to, damage resulting from failures or delays in the delivery of electronic communications, interceptions or manipulations of electronic communications by third parties or by computer programs used for communications or transmissions of viruses.
If you choose to pay by Multibanco, the order will be processed after payment confirmation. This may take a few days. If payment has not been received after five calendar days from the date of placing the order, the order will be cancelled.
Payments can only be processed if the information to be used for billing can be verified.
- Reservation of title
The Seller retains title to the goods until full payment has been received.
- Pricing
7.1 The prices of products and services displayed on the website are exempt from VAT under the exemption regime, article 53. Shipping charges are applied per order, where applicable. If applicable, the exact price of the shipping charge will depend on the country where the order will be delivered.
7.2 All prices are quoted in euros. Changing the delivery country may have an impact on prices due to shipping costs.
7.3 The total price displayed at the end of the purchase process includes applicable taxes. Prices are quoted at the time of the order confirmation, which can be printed or downloaded for future reference. Please pay only the exact amount specified in the order confirmation and make individual payments per order.
7.4 Price changes
The prices of products and services presented on the website are subject to change. The Seller reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applied to that purchase.
7.5 Price errors
Even though the website is updated carefully, it is possible that the price information on the website may contain errors. The Seller is not bound by the offer and reserves the right to cancel the order in the event of such an error.
- Quality and guarantee
The presentation (images, shape, colors, etc.) of the services or products offered for sale on cesarferreira.pt may not exactly correspond to reality, due to the Internet browser and monitor used.
- Shipping and Delivery
Proof of purchase of the service or product is sent as soon as payment is confirmed.
The Seller shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in the performance of any obligation which is due to an event of force majeure, that is, an event, act or omission beyond its reasonable control.
The Seller will attempt to deliver within the timeframe set out, to the extent commercially reasonable, however, the Seller cannot guarantee timely delivery.
- Cancellations, returns (right of free resolution) and exchanges
The Consumer may cancel the order, as long as it has not yet been shipped.
If the Consumer places an order and wishes to cancel it, he/she must check the status of the order through the “Orders” tab available in “My Account”, located in the top right corner of the website’s home page.
If the status is “In processing”, “Registered”, “Payment pending” or “Awaiting payment confirmation”, there is a possibility that the order will be cancelled. The Consumer should contact customer support via email suporte@cesarferreira.pt and request cancellation of the order.
If the cancellation request is successful, the Consumer will be notified by email of this decision and the cancellation will be processed at no cost to the Consumer.
In the case of digital products and services, they are delivered after payment confirmation. The order cannot be cancelled after payment confirmation.
If payment is not received and confirmed within five days after acceptance of the order, the order will be automatically cancelled.
The Consumer has the right to terminate the contract for the products or services purchased without incurring any costs and without needing to state the reason within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract and other terms of the provisions of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14 (with the amendments conferred by Decree-Law No. 78/2018, of October 15 and by Law No. 47/2014, of July 28).
In the event of termination of the contract, all payments made to the Consumer will be refunded, including delivery costs, except when the Consumer chooses a shipping method other than standard shipping. In this case, the Consumer must bear the additional costs.
The Seller shall reimburse all payments received within 14 days from the date on which he is informed of the decision to terminate the contract and on which the goods are received.
Refunds of payments will be made using the same payment method used by the consumer in the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
If the termination of the contract is due to the existence of a defect or non-conformity with the products ordered, the Seller shall bear the shipping and return costs. In the event of exercising the right to freely terminate the contract, the costs of returning the goods shall be borne by the Consumer.
Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the Consumer may not freely terminate service provision contracts when: the services have been fully provided after the consumer's prior express consent; the Consumer acknowledges that he/she loses the right to free termination if the contract has been fully performed by the professional in that case; remaining terms of the provisions of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14 (with the amendments conferred by Decree-Law no. 78/2018, of October 15 and by Law no. 47/2014, of July 28).
The Consumer may not freely terminate contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if their execution begins with the Consumer's prior and express consent.
Due to the preparation effort required, in face-to-face courses and courses in “live training” format (distance and live), cancellation of registrations will not be accepted after 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract or less than five working days from the date of completion of the training. If the Consumer is unable to attend, he/she may attend a future edition of the course or appoint a third party to participate.
The Seller will not refund the amount for participation in a service if the Consumer is not present on the day of execution of the service.
It is not possible for a person who has received a product as a gift from another person to return it. In this case, to return it, you must contact the person who purchased it so that they can return it.

- Conditions applicable to promotional codes (discounts)
12.1 When used according to the established rules, a promotion code enables the user to enjoy a promotion / discount related to the purchase of a specific product or for a set of products, during the period indicated / associated with the promotional code / promotional campaign .
12.2 Promotional codes can only be used for online purchases made on the website. The sale, exchange or donation of a promotional code is not permitted. The Consumer holding the promotional code may not upload or make available a promotional code on any website or other public form of offer, donation, sale or exchange. The use of promotional codes for commercial purposes is not permitted.
12.3 The promotional code is connected with the Seller. The use of the promotional code in connection with another brand, company or name is not permitted. The use of the promotional code in an illegal, abusive or disrespectful manner, as well as in any other way that may harm the reputation of the Seller, is also not permitted.
12.4 The use of the promotional code is subject to only one use per product and per order. Promotional codes cannot be combined with any other promotions or special offers.
12.5 Promotional codes are not exchangeable / exchangeable for cash.
12.6 The Seller is not obliged to reissue or refund promotional codes. However, in the event that the Seller decides to reissue or refund a promotional code, the Seller must have access to the initial promotional code. To do so, it is necessary that you keep a copy of your promotional code, as otherwise it cannot be reissued or replaced if lost.
12.7 In cases where the Seller reissues/refunds the promotional code, the discount of that amount may only be applied to a purchase of equal or greater value than the purchase in which the discount/promotional code was issued.
12.8 Without prejudice to any other rights, the Seller has the right to immediately invalidate the promotional code if the Seller has reason to suspect that a promotional code is being used: in violation of the above-mentioned assumptions, by usurpation or in other cases where the Seller has reasons to do so.
- Availability
Fulfillment of all orders placed on the website is subject to availability. The Seller attempts to ensure that all items offered for sale on the website are in stock, however, reserves the right not to accept any orders or cancel orders already confirmed for products that are no longer in stock. In such cases, the Seller will inform the Consumer of such fact and will refund the amount paid.
- Validity of promotions
Promotions on the website are valid only for the time they are displayed on the website, unless otherwise stated on the website. The Seller is not bound by any offer if there are errors or mistakes in spelling, pricing or other information on the website. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any purchase and sale concluded under such errors.
- Responsibility
15.1 The Seller shall only be liable for damages suffered by the Consumer if such damages result from attributable breaches of the Seller's contractual obligations towards the Consumer or if the Seller's liability results from applicable statutory law.
15.2 If the Consumer has suffered damages related to the activity of the website, the Seller's liability will be limited to:
Reasonable and verifiable costs incurred by the Consumer to find the cause and the amount of compensation attributable to the damage;
The maximum refund of the aforementioned indemnity will be (if applicable) the price of the products in question.
15.3 The Seller shall not be liable for any damage suffered by third parties resulting from the use of any of our products. The Seller shall not be liable for any damage suffered by the Consumer as a result of improper use of the products.
15.4 The Seller is not responsible for damages resulting from incorrect information on the website.
15.5 Although every attempt has been made to verify that the information provided is true, the Seller assumes no responsibility for errors, omissions or misinterpretations of the content provided in the services provided. Reliance on the advice given by the Seller is assumed entirely by the Consumer at his/her own risk.
- Change of Terms & Conditions
The Seller reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The Consumer is subject to the principles and terms in force at the date of the order, unless the law or competent authority imposes any change to them.
- Information on the website
Although the Seller works on its website with great care, the information, texts, graphic documents, films, music and/or other services may contain errors or be incomplete or incorrect.
The Seller shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use (or inability to use) the website, including damages caused by viruses or any inaccuracy or incompleteness of the information, unless such damage is the result of intent or negligence on the part of the Seller.
- Intellectual and industrial property
The brands, names and other elements presented on the website cesarferreira.pt are protected under the legal provisions applicable to industrial property.
The total or partial reproduction or representation of these elements is strictly prohibited and must be subject to prior written authorization from the Seller or their respective owners.
Users/Consumers are only authorized to copy and print portions of the website if this is necessary to place an order.
- Applicable legislation
These general conditions and all disputes arising from these general conditions, including their validity, the use of the website or any purchase made on it, are subject to Portuguese law.
Any conflict or divergence in the interpretation of the General Conditions of Contract and Use will be submitted to the competent Portuguese Court.
If the Consumer is outside of Portugal, the Seller informs that any legal proceedings must be referred to the Portuguese Courts.
