I still remember as if it were today the butterflies in my stomach I felt the first time I spoke to César on the phone. I remember, while I was talking to him, noticing what I was feeling and thinking: “So, control yourself! It’s like you’re making the most important decision of your life!” Little did I know that that decision I made in the summer of 2020, amidst cold palms, a dry mouth and butterflies in my stomach, would actually turn out to be one of the most significant decisions of my life. The woman who was just looking for help to turn some loose reflections on self-knowledge into a book, is now the woman who finished her second book a few days ago, has since written another children’s story for a national children’s literature competition, is writing an e-book and has already structured two more books. If you ask me how all this started or when it will end, I obviously don’t know how to answer. And you know what? I don’t want to either! I want to live with everything I have the right to this fantastic moment of true rebirth and a profound sense of reunion with myself and with what we can perhaps call my life’s mission. It is a magical journey of words, of feeling, of imagining, of realizing dreams that we often forget we had. And it is even more magical if it is lived alongside someone as special as you. César. A mentor with total dedication and commitment, who seems to know every strength and every weakness that resides within us and helps us in an extraordinarily natural way to transform all of this into true masterpieces. And on top of that, he makes us feel during the process that there really is an artist inside each one of us capable of overcoming each challenge, each discovery, each book.
